Portraiture has become very popular over the past ten years with an increase of studios in most major cities getting the message across of the importance of having the family photographed, but quite often all delivering the same looking style of portraiture as maybe some of your friends have had?
Here at my studio we don’t photograph to a formula. We treat everybody as individual and understand the need to light people from different angles, you must of heard the old saying “have you got my best side”. Well it is true! Most people say “they don’t like being photographed often because nobody ever used the correct lighting for them or really picked out their best features, or simply because we are so used to not looking our best in party or holiday snaps with red eye and white faces. To have a portrait made that shows you to your very best, or indeed an image of a loved one that captures all what you feel about that individual will in time become a treasured heirloom.
We would always look to have a chat with you about your portrait session and give advise as to clothing, make up, where the portrait will take place, either in the studio or location, where the portrait will hang, the style of your own decor etc.. As i said before everyone is unique, and so deserve a different approach to our last session.
