Congratulations as you are possibly making plans for your wedding, a day you will want to remember forever ] hope you like the images on my site, they are mainly weddings from last year, with a couple of old favourites. The photographs will change a few times over the next twelve months, so keep a look out for friends, and new ideas, and maybe even yourself. Weddings are expensive, (pity the dad with three daughters) and making your day just perfect, can be a real blow out, but what more of a fitting occasion to be extravagant., On that note with so much expense and not to mention emotion for one special day surely you will want more than just your memories ? You May ask yourself “why should i commission a professional qualified photographer? after all my cousin has the latest state of the art digital camera . . . .“But he is not a photographer as i am not a solicitor, and you are really putting an extreme amount of pressure and responsibility on someone who has just taken a couple of nice holiday snaps. This in turn could lead to a good relationship going bad. My advise most certainly would be “DONT DO IT”. On the other hand it can extremely difficult when looking for the right photographer After- all when you try a dress on or look at flowers you know instantly whether they are to your likeing. With photography however it is much more subjective and you are judging the photographer on images of other people not of you! For this reason it is important you take recommendations of friends you can trust have similar taste to you. Generally the best bet is to look for qualifications of the BIPP(British institute of professional photography) or MPA(Master photographers association) with a pre fix of L, A, or the highest F. This way you know you are booking real photographers with experience of lighting, composition design and a knowledge of how to relax you and achieve the right expression, giving you something different, and ultimately bringing out the gorgeous in you’ Here at my studio we operate a small personal service and between myself and my assistant photographer Kelly we handle around fifty weddings a year.
